I,
of my own free will and accord, do hereby declare my allegiance to Sigma Tau Gamma, and do most solemnly promise that I will be a loyal and faithful member thereof, and will ever strive to uphold the high principles for which it stands. More than this, I promise that I will do all within my power to advance the cause of truth and goodness in my Fraternity, College, and Country. I will abide by the Constitution, Laws, and Rituals which now or may in the future govern the Fraternity. Whenever it is in my power to do so, I will render aid to any worthy brother. I shall never reveal any of the secrets of Sigma Tau Gamma which have or may hereafter come to my knowledge, except through the authorized ceremony of initiation of one who is qualified therefor.
